I am a doctoral student in Computer Science and Engineering at the University at Buffalo, under the supervision of Dr. Wenyao Xu. My research focuses on intelligent sensing systems, biometrics, cybersecurity and smart healthcare, with an emphasis on developing sensing and machine-learning-based solutions for real-world applications.

Previously I worked as a Software Development Engineer at IQVIA. I completed my undergraduate studies in Computer Science and Engineering at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).

    I am working as a Graduate Research Assistant at the ESC group at the University at Buffalo, under the supervision of Dr. Wenyao Xu.

  1. IQVIA

    Software Development Engineer II June 2023 - July 2026

    I had worked as a Software Development Engineer II on the Orchestrated Analytics platform at IQVIA, building scalable data-driven solutions with .NET, AWS, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL, and MongoDB. I developed a background processing module for automated email digests with dynamic visualizations (Highcharts, Puppeteer Sharp), and engineered optimized APIs, RabbitMQ integrations, and Hangfire jobs. I also contributed to CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes deployments, earning the Gold Award in the IQVIA Impact Program.

  1. Detecting Stealthy Web Bots: A Behavioral Analysis Framework for OpenWPM Automation

    This work was conducted as my undergraduate thesis under the supervision of Dr. Md. Shohrab Hossain and Dr. Anupam Das. In this work, we collected and analyzed behavioral data including mouse movements, clicks, keypresses, and the relatively under-explored scrolling behavior to distinguish human users from Selenium and OpenWPM automation. We proposed a novel lightweight framework that combines classification models with clustering, designed to be robust to missing interaction data and generalizable across platforms such as e-commerce and social networks. This work was accepted at IEEE Transactions on Dependable and Secure Computing (TDSC) (DOI: 10.1109/TDSC.2025.3639982).

  2. ExtendedAIST: Improving Interpretable Crime Prediction through Graph Homophily and Contextual Correlations

    Under the supervision of Dr. Tanzima Hashem, this research project extended the crime prediction framework AIST by incorporating a graph homophily constraint to enhance regional crime representation learning. A cross-category crime correlation module was also developed to improve predictive performance, resulting in lower loss compared to the original AIST baseline. We are currently expanding this work by integrating socio-economic distributions and weather updates as external features to further strengthen the model’s predictive capabilities.
